CAMD and Chemical Engineering Team win the first Innovation Award from LSU’s Center for Atomic Level Catalyst Design (DOE –EFRC)

A research grant of $100,000 was won by LSU team to investigate correlation of electronic structure of ligand-protected gold clusters with their catalytic activity. The LSU team consists of CAMD’s Challa Kumar & Yaroslav Losovyj and Chem.Eng’s Nandakumar Krishnaswamy. The other Co-PIs in the team led by Challa Kumar are : David Bruce(Clemson University), Jongh, P.E. de (Petra) (University of Utrecht, Netherlands) and Michael Kohler (Technical University, Ilmenau, Germany).
