LSU, TAMU, ORNL and UNL Team won the second Innovation Award from LSU’s Center for Atomic Level Catalyst Design (DOE –EFRC)

A research innovation grant of $100,000 (PI, D. Wayne Goodman (now J.D. Batteas), contact person Li Liu, TAMU) is dedicated to investigate atomic and electronic structure of gold nano clusters supported by graphene moiré’s and corrugated h-BN nanomeshes along with their catalytic activity correlation. The LSU team consists of Physics and Astronomy’s Rich Kurtz and CAMD’s Yaroslav Losovyj. The other Co-investigators are: ORNL’s Ye Xu and UNL’s Peter Dowben.
